[NEWS] HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

Halloween-ish movies and dramas ~

Halloween is just around the corner and for some people this means lots of partying and trick-or-treating, but for some others it means sitting wrapped up in a cozy blanket together with friends while watching a good spooky movie or drama. Therefore I've decided to make a short blog post about what movies or dramas you can check out or watch during Halloween, or before, to get into that spooky-mode right before you open that tequila bottle or start running around the neighborhood and do the all-so-loved trick or treating.

Now, I'm probably the biggest scaredy cat in the world but these are all dramas and movies that I very much enjoyed so I hope at least one of these will help spice up your Halloween :3

Chilling Romance also known as Spellbound. Starring Lee Min Ki (Shut Up Flower Boy Band, For the Emperor) and Son Ye Jin (Personal Taste) this movie a delightful romance comedy with spooky elements. It's about a street magician and a girl who can see ghosts and what happens when they meet and start to fall for each other. I just loved it xD it was so cute and silly and yet perfect for Halloween because it has ghosts. and don't we all love ghosts for halloween? :D

The Haunted School. It's old but gold, as they say xP
This HongKong chinese masterpiece is my perfect go-back-to movie for Halloween. Starring Leung Toby, Cheung Steven, Yuen Benjamin and Li Yat Long, The Haunted School is about a all all girls high school that suddenly decides to accept 4 male students. The school has a very dark secret and while everything has been under control for ages, when the 4 students arrive, strange things start to re-occur. If you just want to feel shivers down your spine without getting completely traumatized by the gory scenarios that you usually see in horror movies, this might be the perfect movie for you.

If you'd rather want to check out something longer like a drama, I can highly recommend the currently airing The Village: Achiara's Secret. It's very spooky, thrilling and addicting!

Starring Moon Geun Young and Yook Sung Jae the drama is about Han So Yoon, an English teacher who gets offered a job at a school in the small, quiet and peaceful village named Achiara. But on her first day there, Han So Yoon discovers a buried corpse. As the townspeople speculate on the identity of the dead person and the reason she was killed, So Yoon and Police Officer Woo Jae attempt to find the truth. As they get closer, the ugliness of the village is revealed. As it's still ongoing I can't say much about it, but I've seen the first few episodes and it's very mysterious and interesting *_*!

I hope you'll all have a wonderful and spooky Halloween! Until Next time ~
